I don't CARE if you're seeing this twice..

My friend runs a large breed dog rescue network, in the UK. Tonight, the network is faced with crippling vet bills, because of am extremely fast spreading parvovirus. This is their plea:

"We recently took on three lovely little pups who were in need of care, their life started in a puppy farm. This morning those three 5 month old little girls, one other resident dog and a further foster dog are fighting for their lives after coming down with a serious virus which means they are all in the vets.

I have never, ever, emailed out directly before asking for help so you can probably guess how desperate this plea is. I'm not asking for money (although if you want to donate I'm certainly not going to stop you!) but I am asking you to share this appeal on your networks, facebook pages and forums and help us get these girls the care they so desperately need. The vets bills alone could cripple Iron Mountain completely.

If anyone receiving this is in the Suffolk area, we are appealing for blankets and towels as we're having to burn all dog bedding to prevent repeat outbreaks. We are organising a safe drop-off point where the home will collect from as we cannot risk others pets by having people come into contact with plague house as it's now become known.

You can help by circulating this email, posting on forums you visit or sharing from your facebook wall with the link http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ironmountain-Large-breed-rescue/158812137467257

Donating to the vets direct (please state it's for the Iron Mountain account) on 01728 441 006

Donating to our community account which is HSBC sort code 40-01-29 account number 80162876 Iron Mountain large breed rescue

Or donating to our paypal account at ironmountaindogrescue@hotmail.co.uk

Even £1 will make a difference to this lot. The picture attached is not of a sweet puppy sleeping peacefully, this is just before we rushed her to the surgery as she had gone downhill so fast we thought she was dying.

If you have ever adopted one of our dogs, this is part and parcel of what goes into rescue work, it could have been any one of yours and I would have fought equally as hard as I am fighting now for their right to live. If you are a rescue and I have ever helped you out, now is the time to help me by sharing this wherever you can. I know we're all in dire straits financially right now but just sharing the appeal may help us to help these girls who deserve every chance at a life just begun.

Thank you all for your time and give your dogs and extra hug from me

I've adopted one of their rescues, so they're extra precious to me. If you have it in you to donate, or help in some other way, please do. Thank you.
